Wecker mission

Happy Birthday Tamie. This week we got our flu and shingles shots.  We are not feeling 100%.  We may take a quiet day. We have been sitting in on lessons with a man named Eddie.  Yesterday he committed to baptism.  Wahoo! Last night Elder Wecker and I had our first reading experience with him.  He said he was having trouble understanding the Book of Mormon, so we offered to read with him.  The Elders have been trying to get him to read, but he was reluctant.  Last night, after we finished the first chapter of Nephi, he said he was going to continue reading and we would pick up where he left off tonight. We read over the phone.  Technology is grand. I have been doing a little sewing for the missionaries and I took Joan's advice and made them cupcakes.  I just hope they feel we are more of a blessing than a hindrance.
